    We respect your privacy. This document explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.
  

1. Data Controller

The data controller is Moreman Games (support@moreman.games). For any privacy-related questions, please contact us at that address.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 Account Data

Email address and password (when registering via email).
Name and profile picture from Google or Apple ID (when signing in via OAuth / Apple Sign In).
Nickname chosen by the user for the leaderboard.

2.2 User-Generated Content

Photos uploaded by the user (stored in Supabase Storage).
Written reviews and numeric ratings for places.
List of visited places and favourites.

2.3 Location Data

The app requests access to the device's location solely for:

displaying the distance from you to places on the map;
automatically verifying a visit (GPS check within a 100 m radius).

Location data is never stored on Moreman Games servers. Coordinates are processed locally on the device only at the time the feature is used.

2.4 Technical Data

OS type and version (iOS / Android).
Anonymous session identifiers required for app operation.

We do not collect IDFA, advertising identifiers, financial transaction data, or sensitive categories of personal data.

3. How We Use the Data

Authentication and account management.
Displaying user photos, reviews, and achievements.
Populating the leaderboard.
Moderating uploaded content.
Improving the app (analysis of aggregated, anonymised data).
Responding to support requests.

We do not sell personal data to third parties or use it for advertising purposes.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

Supabase Inc. — database storage, authentication, and photo storage. Data may be stored on servers in the EU or the US in accordance with Supabase's policy.
Google LLC — when Sign in with Google is used (data transferred per Google OAuth policy).
Apple Inc. — when Sign in with Apple is used (data transferred per Apple's policy).
Weather API provider — a coordinate-based current weather request. Coordinates are not linked to an account and are not stored.

5. Data Security

We employ Row Level Security (RLS) in Supabase, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), and token-based authentication. Access to data is granted only to authorised users to the extent required for app functionality.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained as long as your account exists. When an account is deleted, all personal data, reviews, photos, and visit history are removed. Publicly posted content (reviews, photos) may be anonymised and retained in aggregated form.

7. Guest Mode

The app works without registration. In guest mode, no account data is collected. Some features (reviews, photos, achievements, leaderboard) are available to registered users only.

8. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU/GDPR). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

request access to your personal data;
request correction of inaccurate data;
request deletion of data ("right to be forgotten");
withdraw consent to data processing;
request data portability (for EU users).

10. App Permissions

Location (When In Use) — for distance display and visit verification. Not used in the background.
Camera / Photo Library — only for uploading photos at the user's own initiative.

11. Policy Changes

For significant changes we will notify users via push notification or a welcome screen. The "Last updated" date in the header is always current.
