Terms of Service — TileShift

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the mobile game TileShift, published by Moreman Games ("we", "us", "our"). By installing and/or launching the game, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree — do not install or use the game.

1. Eligibility and Age Restrictions

• The game is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13 — do not use the game. If you are between 13 and 18 — you must obtain parental or guardian consent.
• You agree to comply with the applicable laws of your jurisdiction and the rules of the distribution platform (Google Play / App Store).

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the game solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Prohibited Activities

• Decompilation, reverse engineering, modification, circumvention of technical protections, creating derivative works.
• Using bots/scripts/cheats, interfering with level mechanics, manipulating progress or in-game resources.
• Commercial use of the game, its elements (graphics, music, code), logos without prior written permission.
• Any activity that violates law, third-party rights, fair play, or technical stability.

4. Intellectual Property

All rights to the game and its elements (including but not limited to code, mechanics, visual assets, music, logos, and design) belong to Moreman Games and/or its licensors and are protected by copyright law and international treaties.

5. Virtual Items and In-App Purchases

• The game may include virtual items, currency, hints, etc. These items are provided "as is" and have no real-world monetary value. They are non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless required by law.
• Payments are processed by the platforms (Google/Apple) or their partners. Refund and payment policies are governed by the respective app stores.
• We may adjust balance, pricing, or availability of virtual items without prior notice.

6. Advertising, Analytics, and Third-Party Services

The game may use third-party SDKs (such as Unity Ads, Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics, GameAnalytics, Appsflyer) to display ads, measure effectiveness, perform diagnostics, and improve quality. These providers may collect technical device data, advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID), event data, etc. See our Privacy Policy and the policies of respective providers for details.

7. Progress, Saves, and Network

• Progress and settings may be stored locally on the device. Deleting the game may erase such data permanently.
• Some features may require an internet connection. Your carrier may charge for data transfer.
• Performance may vary depending on device, OS, and available resources.

8. Updates and Changes

We may release patches, updates, bug fixes, or new versions, as well as modify or discontinue features without prior notice. By continuing to use the game after updates, you agree to such changes.

9. Community and Fair Play

• Behave respectfully. Harassment, abuse, and discrimination are prohibited.
• Cheating, exploiting bugs, and unauthorized access are forbidden.
• We may restrict or terminate your access to the game if you violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The game is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranties (including implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free operation). You use the game at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moreman Games, its affiliates, partners, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive damages, loss of profits, data, or business interruption arising from use of the game. Aggregate liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you in the past 12 months (if applicable) or EUR 10 — whichever is greater and not contrary to applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moreman Games from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or third-party rights when using the game.

13. Health and Safety

• Some users may experience discomfort from flashing lights or dynamic visual effects. Stop playing and seek medical advice if unwell.
• We recommend taking breaks, avoiding play when tired, and practicing moderation.

14. Termination

We may suspend or revoke your license to the game at any time for violation of these Terms, security threats, or other legal grounds. Upon termination, you must cease using and delete the game. Provisions that naturally survive (e.g., Sections 4, 10–12, 16–18) remain in effect.

15. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including infrastructure outages, government actions, natural disasters, etc.).

16. Governing Law and Disputes

Unless mandatory laws of your country of residence apply otherwise, these Terms and related matters shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, and disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Cyprus.

17. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date is stated at the top of the document. For significant changes, we may display a notice in-game or on our website.
